But if it doesn’t make the reader feel something…
It will be forgotten the moment they scroll away.
Why?
Because humans are emotional before they are rational.
We may not remember data.
But we never forget how something made us feel.
Emotion is the force that turns words into experience.
It is the electricity in a sentence.
The fire in a story.
The reason a simple phrase can break a heart - or heal it.
Magnetic Writing bleeds.
It cries, laughs, trembles, hopes.
It enters the secret places of the soul…
And whispers, “You are not alone.”
Emotion is not noise.
It is resonance.
It is the vibration between your heart and the reader’s heart.
When readers feel seen, they stay.
When they feel nothing, they leave.
Emotion can be soft or loud:
- A tear you’re trying to hide
- A victory after a long battle
- The loneliness behind a smile
- The quiet power of hope
- The rage of injustice
- The thrill of possibility
It doesn’t matter which emotion.
What matters is that it is real.
Because fake emotion repels.
But authentic emotion magnetizes.
Here is the truth:
Emotion is the bridge between attention and action.
People don’t primarily share logic.
They don’t basically quote statistics.
They don’t replay neutrality.
They share what moves them.
They quote what touches them.
They replay what awakens them.
If Intrigue captures the mind,
Emotion captures the soul.
And once you have the soul…
The reader belongs to you.
